PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project aimed to develop a new brand and marketing strategy for Kilrush Town. This included the following achievements:
Carry out a workshop with Kilrush Town Team and other stakeholders to fully understand the project, the town's natural assets and USPs and the challenges faced by the town.
Design a new brand for Kilrush Town that best captures the town's natural assets and positions the town in line with the Town Team's three year development strategy.
Develop a 90 second promotional video to be used for both tourism and economic development.
PROJECT JUSTIFICATION & OBJECTIVES
It was agreed that Kilrush was lacking a coherent brand that clearly defines its identity and captures its USP's. As a result, people visiting the town are not clear on what the town has to offer.
The development of a defined brand and the supporting promotional video allows the town to clearly promote its many positives from both an enterprise, investment and tourism perspective.
Kilrush is the first large town in Co. Clare for north-bound travelers on the Wild Atlantic Way which presents a significant opportunity to develop it as a tourist destination. A strong brand & marketing campaign is key to ensuring the town positions itself as a desirable destination for these visitors.
