Kilrush Camper Van & Caravan Park

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project seeks to explore the development opportunities of a fully equipped camper van & caravan park facility within the town boundaries, e.g. field at the Marina or Vandeleur Walled Garden.

PROJECT JUSTIFICATION & OBJECTIVES

The Wild Atlantic Way has brought about a significant increase in national and international visitors exploring the country by camper van and caravan. These visitors however tend to stay outside towns and villages for a lack of overnight parking options.

Having a fully equipped camper van & caravan park in Kilrush would attract these visitors into the town for the benefit of local businesses and tourism operators.
