Kilrush Playground

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project seeks to locate a suitable location and develop a playground for smaller children aged 2-12 years old.

PROJECT JUSTIFICATION & OBJECTIVES

Playgrounds are much-loved by parents and their young children. It is a place for kids to play and build their social skills as well as for parents to meet and chat. Unfortunately, there is no playground in Kilrush itself. The closest playground is in Cappa which for many families located in and around Kilrush town centre is unsuitable and requires planning ahead and the availability of a car to get to the playground. A playground in or around the Kilrush town centre is therefore needed.
