Kilrush Solar Bin Project

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project explored the viability of replacing the existing public waste bins within Kilrush town with solar powered compactor bins and implemented a trial run.

PROJECT JUSTIFICATION & OBJECTIVES

General waste continues to be an issue within the town of Kilrush. Replacing conventional waste bins with modern solar powered compacting bins might be a solution for this problem.
