Kilrush Walkability Study Phase 1 & Phase 2

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project is reviewing the existing quality of access and future accessibility needs for the town of Kilrush. Phase 1 of this project is complete, phase 2 is currently in progress.

The project is conducting a walkability study of the town in cooperation with the National Disability Association. The goal of the project is to identify any existing challenges that present themselves to people with disabilities accessing the town centre.

PROJECT JUSTIFICATION & OBJECTIVES

This project is vital to identify any shortcomings and for developing a delivery plan for improvements. This project is the further step in making Kilrush all-inclusive and will benefit residents and visitors alike.
