Kilrush Woods Activity Park

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project seeks to develop a community enterprise utilising the natural landscape of Kilrush Woods to provide fun activities like archery, orienteering, zip lines, mountain biking, etc.

This similar project has been realised in County Kilkenny and could be used as an example and inspiration: Castlecomer Discovery Park, www.castlecomer.ie.

PROJECT JUSTIFICATION & OBJECTIVES

The project will take advantage of the natural landscape to provide a new and special attraction which will link seamlessly with the existing West Coast Aquapark and Vandeleur Walled Garden, creating a unique grouping of outdoor-based attractions which will further enhance Kilrush's and the wider West Clare area's appeal for residents and visitors alike.
