Nature Week at Banner Books

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This event ran from the 18th to 26th November 2023 and featured a mixture of nature-themed talks and workshops by local and national authors, artists and naturalists. The event was planned and hosted by Banner Books in Kilrush in association with Silverwood Events.

PROJECT JUSTIFICATION & OBJECTIVES

West Clare’s natural heritage is one of its greatest but often undervalued assets. Nature Week at Banner Books showcased this asset through talks and workshops by local as well as nationally acclaimed experts and by doing so contributing to a greater understanding and growing interest in the world around us. In addition the event was important to give a platform to local talent.
