Wood River Walk

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project would see the development of a river walk along the Wood River from Cappa road to Killimer road.

PROJECT JUSTIFICATION & OBJECTIVES

The project would provide an urban greenway in the heart of Kilrush. As well as providing a welcome amenity, the walk would link two of Kilrush’s main tourist attractions, Kilrush Woods & Vandeleur Walled Gardens and The Marina & West Coast Aquapark as well as the West Clare Greenway and would so benefit and support tourism in the town.
