Park Plouzane Town Centre Access Link

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project is developing a pedestrian linkage between the car park at Park Plouzané and Henry Street.

This project could be developed in conjunction with Additional Parking and Kilrush Town Train.

PROJECT JUSTIFICATION & OBJECTIVES

The currently free parking area at Park Plouzané has no direct linkage to Henry Street or Vandeleur Street where most businesses are located. A pedestrian link would greatly improve the shopping experience for residents and visitors, would potentially provide more footfall for businesses and create an overall more positive impression of Kilrush for visitors.
