Kilrush Active Rejuvenation

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project seeks to oversee and link the following projects with the goal to create an interlinked and state of the art sporting complex for Kilrush:

• Kilrush MUGA

• Kilrush Running Track

• Kilrush Active Full Size Astro Turf

• West Clare Indoor Sports Arena

• Kilrush Active Changing Facility

PROJECT JUSTIFICATION & OBJECTIVES

The five individual projects each work towards improving sports facilities in Kilrush. This would support existing clubs and nurture the creation of new ones, attract clubs from the wider area as well as sporting events and festivals.

Finding synergies and overlaps between the individual projects and planning with the bigger picture in mind would ensure the individual projects would compliment each other and function as one which would result in a unique and inclusive sports centre for West Clare and beyond.

Linking the individual projects could also save money.
